This pack is D-Sliced. This is the more traditional triangular cut that you would expect to see making this pack ideal for serving as a starter or, even more simply, on buttered brown bread with lemon and pepper.
Ardtaraig is in its 40th year of producing the finest quality Smoked Scottish Salmon. Our smoking process harks back to traditional smoking methods using London brick kilns and does not utilise the modern smoking techniques of many of our competitors. Oak and Beech woods are used to produce a mild smoke flavour ensuring the wonderful taste of our Scottish Salmon shines through.
Whilst this is a farmed product, our quality is second to none and quite unlike anything you will find in the supermarket. All of our fish comes from 2 farms situated in fast flowing waters in the North West of Scotland. With low stocking density and good quality feeding we can ensure that our fish has a firm texture and a fantastic flavour. Therefore we know where each individual fish has come from and how it has been treated providing us with the certainty that you are receiving the best possible produce of consistently excellent quality.
