Ardtaraig Premium Hand Sliced Smoked Organic Scottish Salmon

Firm in texture and full of flavour, this is a truly sustainable and incredibly delicious alternative to Wild Scottish Salmon and, here at Ardtaraig, we actually prefer it.
We start with fish that are stocked in extremely low numbers in a farm situated in fast flowing, clean waters and are fed exclusively on natural,organic ingredients with no GMO or antibiotic usage.
Each side is then smoked over a blend of Oak and Beech woods using time honoured, traditional smoking techniques before being left to mature and and finally hand-sliced with the utmost care and precision.
All of this adds up to the most beautifully smoked Scottish Salmon with an absolutely sublime texture and taste.

    Every year I send my youngest brother's family organic smoked salmon, especially since wild smoked salmon is no longer available. This year I got to taste this organic smoked salmon and I was delighted to find the taste and texture far superior to the general supermarket smoked salmon.

    A side of Ardtaraig's smoked salmon has become part of our family Christmas for over a decade now and everybody thinks it's delicious stuff. Without it, Christmas wouldn't feel right - there was a panic a few years ago when we thought there was a delivery mix-up (our fault) and Ardtaraig were heroic about sorting the problem out. Couldn't recommend more highly.

    As before the smoked salmon was excellent - thoroughly recommended. An indication of which end to open the pack to facilitate lifting the slices would be useful.
