What is the difference between D-Sliced and Long-Sliced Salmon?Long-Sliced Salmon All of our salmon packs (100g and 400g) are long-sliced. As the name suggests, these slices are cut lengthways across the top of the fillet, creating elegant, longer slices that are ideal for canapés, buffets and catering for larger groups. D-Sliced Salmon All of our whole sides of salmon are traditionally D-sliced. This method cuts diagonally through the fillet to create the classic triangular slices, with only a small amount of brown meat at the base of the cut. D-sliced salmon is perfect for plated starters and self-service occasions.
Can I specify a delivery date?We will always do our best to arrange delivery for a preferred date; however, we cannot guarantee delivery on a specific day. Please allow for the estimated transit times provided when placing your order. Please note:
Christmas DeliveriesDuring the Christmas period, we operate scheduled dispatch dates to ensure products arrive as close to Christmas Day as possible. If you require delivery before a specific date, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate your request. We also closely monitor weather conditions and courier networks during this busy period to help ensure your order arrives safely and on time.
Can I include a gift message?Yes. We offer a complimentary gift card service with all gift orders. Simply enter your message during checkout and we will include it with your order.
Do you offer gift wrapping?Many of our products are already presented in attractive gift packaging.
How are deliveries packaged?Salmon Orders Our salmon products are carefully packed in insulated polystyrene containers with ice packs to maintain freshness during transit. Gift Boxes and Hampers These are packaged within sturdy outer cardboard cartons for protection during delivery. . What happens if my order doesn't arrive?In the unlikely event that your order is delayed, lost, or damaged during transit, we will work quickly to resolve the issue. How long will my products last?Smoked Fish Products When dispatched fresh, our products typically have the following shelf life when kept refrigerated and unopened:
Once opened, all fish products should be consumed within 48 hours. Pâtés Our pâté products have a shelf life of approximately 18 days from the date of dispatch when kept refrigerated and unopened. Hampers and Gift Boxes As hampers contain a variety of products, shelf-life information should be checked on each individual item included within the hamper.
