Ardtaraig Premium Hand Sliced Smoked Organic Scottish Salmon

husriwe-.jpgFirm in texture and full of flavour, this is a truly sustainable and incredibly delicious alternative to Wild Scottish Salmon and, here at Ardtaraig, we actually prefer it.

We start with fish that are stocked in extremely low numbers in a farm situated in fast flowing, clean waters and are fed exclusively on natural, organic ingredients with no GMO or antibiotic usage. Each side is then smoked over a blend of Oak and Beech woods using time honoured, traditional smoking techniques before being left to mature and and finally hand-sliced with the utmost care and precision.

All of this adds up to the most beautifully smoked Scottish Salmon with an absolutely sublime texture and taste.

Responsibly sourced and sustainable. Rather than depleting the stocks of wild Scottish Salmon, we feel that this is where the future lies.

    This was absolutely the best smoked salmon I have ever tasted. Lean, dense but soft, with a subtle smoke. It almost didn't need lemon. Organic as well - and at a reasonable price. I will be ordering this again

    Thoroughly enjoyed the smoked salmon although it was a touch bland for my taste. I also happen to prefer the fish sliced a bit thicker for a more succulent experience. That said, there was nowt to complain about. Can't remember seeing "organic" on the packaging but Christmas is now a month away and when you get to a certain age.........

    This salmon is superb. It was enjoyed by all my family at Christmas. I used to order wild salmon from you but now order this - it’s the closest you can buy. Fully recommend.
